Craig Foster is a former Socceroo and is now the Chief Football Analyst and sports presenter for the SBS-TV network, a columnist for the Sun-Herald newspaper. He was an integral part of the network's expert on-air team at the 2006 and 2010 football World Cups. As a player, Craig started his football career with National Soccer League clubs Adelaide City and Marconi Fairfield and also played for Portsmouth and Crystal Palace FC in the UK (the latter as captain) and as skipper of the National Soccer League side, Northern Spirit FC. Practising what he preaches, Craig has almost completed his 'A' License as a football coach and is also part the way through a Masters in Sports Management. He is an am Ambassador for the Australia Day Council.
